INTERNATIONAL YOUTH STREETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025 (IYSC 2025)

1. TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

1.1 AGE DIVISIONS:

BOYS

        • Under 12s – Born in 2013 or later
        • Under 14s – Born in 2011 or later
        • Under 16s – Born in 2009 or later
        • Under 18s – Born in 2007 or later

GIRLS

        • Under 14s – Born in 2011 or later
        • Under 16s – Born in 2009 or later
        • Under 18s – Born in 2007 or later

1.2 TOURNAMENT DATE:

        • JULY 4, 2025 (8.00 a.m. – 5.30 p.m.)

1.3 PLAYING COURTS & MATCH INFORMATION:

        • Playing courts:
          All matches will take place indoors on four synthetic half-courts.
        • Playing periods:
          In all age divisions: A single 10-minute period
        • Number of players:
          • One team may register a maximum of four (4) playersin the IYSC 2025
          • Each player is required to participate in ONE team only in his/her age division.
        • Number of teams:
          • To ensure that the competition program is properly set, the following maximum number of registered teams per age division and gender are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with full payment of the registration fee received by JUNE 25, 2025:

– U12s BOYS:       12 teams
– U14s GIRLS:      12 teams
– U16s GIRLS:      12 teams
– U18s GIRLS:      12 teams
– U14s BOYS:       12 teams
– U16s BOYS:       16 teams
– U18s BOYS:       16 teams 

          • The organizer services the right to cancel matches of any gender or age division if there are fewer than six (6) teams registered.

2. AWARDS & PRIZES

2.1 AWARDS:

        • Trophies and Medalswill be awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd
        • A Certificate of Achievement will be offered to the Champions, the 1st and 2nd finalists.

2.2 CASH PRIZES will be offered as the follows:

        • Trophies and Medalswill be awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd
        • A Certificate of Achievement will be offered to the Champions, the 1st and 2nd finalists.
        • U12s BOYS, U14s BOYS, U14s GIRLS, U16s GIRLS & U18s GIRLS divisions
          • Champions: THB 10,000
          • 1st Runners-up: THB 7,000
          • 2nd Runners-up: THB 5,000
        • U16s BOYS & U18s BOYS divisions
          • Champions: THB 15,000
          • 1st Runners-up: THB 10,000
          • 2nd Runners-up: THB 7,000
        • The organizer reserves the right to reduce the amount of cash rewards if the registration is lower than seven (7) teams for the U12s BOYS, U14s GIRLS, U16s GIRLS and U18s GIRLS divisions and ten (10) teams for the U14s BOYS, U16s BOYS and U18s BOYS

3. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

3.1 One team may register a maximum of TWELVE (12) players in the IYSC 2025 tournament but only FOUR (4) players can play in a game.

3.2 Each player is required to participate in ONE team only in his/her age division.

3.3 Four designated players must be registered in play.fiba3x3.com with a
confirmed FIBA 3×3 profile. The designated players with Pending or Non-registered profile are not eligible for the INTERNATIONAL YOUTH STREETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025 (IYSC 2025).

3.4 Players can compete in their own age division and are eligible to compete in a 2nd age category in an older age division but under the same team name.

4. REGISTRATION & FEE


 
4.1   U12s BOYS, U14s BOYS, U14s GIRLS, U16s GIRLS & U18s GIRLS divisions

        • THB 5,000/team/age division (without deduction of any bank charges)

4.2   U16s BOYS & U18s BOYS divisions

        • THB 7,000/team/age division (without deduction of any bank charges)

4.3   Teams are required to register using the same team names and age divisions as those for the IYBC 2025.

4.4   DEADLINE of registration with full payment: June 25, 2025

5. RULES & REGULATIONS

5.1 GAME FORMAT:

        • Court:                 Played on a half-court with one basket.
        • Teams:               Two teams of three players, with one substitute.
        • Time:                   A single 10-minute period.
        • Scoring:
          • The first team to reach 21 points wins.
          • If no team reaches 21, the team with more points at the end of 10 minutes wins.
        • Overtime:         If tied, the first team to score two points wins overtime.
        • Shot Clock:      12 seconds.

5.2 BEGINNING OF THE GAME:

        • Both teams shall warm-up simultaneously prior to the game.
        • A coin flip shall determine which team gets the first possession.The team that wins the coin flip can either choose to benefit from the ball possession at the beginning of the game or at the beginning of a potential overtime.
        • The game cannot begin if one of the teams is not on the playing court with three (3) players ready to play.

5.3 SCORING:

        • Inside the arc:         1 point.
        • Outside the arc:      2 point.
        • Free throws:            1 point.

5.4 OTHER KEY RULES:

        • No Breaks: Play is continuous, with no breaks after scoring.
        • No Half-time or Quarters: The game is a continuous 10-minute period.
        • Substitutions: Substitutions are permitted when the ball becomes dead
          and the game clock is stopped.
        • Timeouts: Each team gets one 30-second timeout.
        • Check-Ball: Possession of the ball after a dead ball situation starts with
          a check-ball, an exchange of the ball between the defensive and offensive player
          behind the arc.
        • No Coaching: Coaches are not allowed on the court or to provide instructions
          from outside the court.
        • Disqualification: A player is disqualified for the remainder of the game when
          charged with two (2) unsportsmanlike fouls.
        • Timeouts: Each team gets one 30-second timeout.
        • No Parking Zone:  A player shall not remain in a restricted area more three (3)
          consecutive seconds while his/her team is in control of a live ball while the game
          clock is running.

5.5 FOULS AND PENALTIES:

        • Fouls: Fouls are called by a referee.
        • Free Throws:
          • Two free throws are awarded for the 7th, 8th, and 9th team fouls.
          • Two free throws and possession of the ball are awarded for the 10th team foul and beyond.
        • Unsportsmanlike fouls:
          • An unsportsmanlike foul is a contact with foul with an excessive, hard or dangerous contact.
          • Holding an opponent in control of the ball shall be considered as an unsportsmanlike foul.
          • The first unsportsmanlike foul of a player shall be penalized with two (s) free throws and ball procession.
          • All unsportsmanlike fouls are counted as two (2) fouls for team foul purposes.
          • A player shall be disqualified for the remainder of the game when he/she is charged with two (2) unsportsmanlike fouls.
