A GLOBAL STAGE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF BASKETBALL STARS

The INTERNATIONAL YOUTH BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS (IYBC) is a premier youth basketball event founded in Thailand in 2023
by the Parent Group of Thai Youth Basketball Players. Established with a clear vision to inspire, connect, and elevate young basketball talents,
the IYBC has rapidly grown into a respected international tournament on the global youth basketball calendar.

OUR JOURNEY

The inaugural IYBC 2023, launched in April, set a strong foundation with a high-level 5-on-5 tournament officially approved by FIBA Asia and supported by the Basketball Sport Association of Thailand (BSAT). More than 40 teams from four countries—Indonesia, Malaysia,
the Philippines, and Thailand—came together to compete, marking a successful and impactful debut.

Building on this momentum, the IYBC 2024, held in August, demonstrated remarkable growth and international appeal. Over 800 young athletes from 71 teams representing 12 countries across Asia and Oceania participated, highlighting IYBC’s expanding reach and credibility.

The momentum continued with IYBC 2025, which once again brought together more than 800 athletes from 69 teams representing
10 countries. By this stage, IYBC had grown beyond a tournament—becoming a dynamic celebration of competition, sportsmanship, cultural exchange, and youth development.
