1. AGE GROUP
BOYS
- Under 12s – Born in 2013 or later
- Under 14s – Born in 2011 or later
- Under 16s – Born in 2009 or later
- Under 18s – Born in 2007 or later
GIRLS
- Under 14s – Born in 2011 or later
- Under 16s – Born in 2009 or later
- Under 18s – Born in 2007 or later
2. PLAYING COURTS & MATCH INFO
- Playing courts:
All matches will take place indoors on wooden and synthetic basketball courts.
- Playing periods:
In all age divisions: 4 x 10 mins (There shall be intervals of play of two (2) minutes between the first and second period (first half), between the third and fourth period (second half), and five(5) minutes half-time interval).
- Number of players:
- One team may register a maximum of 12 players in the IYBC 2025 tournament.
- Each player is required to participate in ONE team only in his/her age division.
- Players can play in their own age division and are eligible to play in a 2ndcategory in an older age division but in the same team.
- Number of teams:
- To ensure that the competition program is properly set, a maximum of 12 registered teams per age division and gender are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with full payment of the registration fee received by May 16, 2025.
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel matches of any gender or age division if there are fewer than five teams registered.
3. AWARDS & SOUVENIRS
- Trophies and Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd placing.
- A Certificate of Achievement will be offered to the champions, the 1stand 2nd finalists.
- A Certificate of Participation will be offered to all participating players.
- All players will receive an IYBC 2025 T-shirt.
