3. PLAYING COURTS & MATCH INFO
•
Playing courts:
All matches will take place in three (3) indoors on wooden basketball court, one (1)
indoor on synthetic basketball court and one (1) roofed synthetic basketball court.
•
Playing periods:
In all age divisions: 4 x 10 minutes (There shall be intervals of play of two (2) minutes
between the first and second period (first half), between the third and fourth period
(second half), and five (5) minutes half-time interval).
•
Number of players:
- One team may register a maximum of 12 players in the IYBC 2026 tournament.
- Each player is required to participate in ONE team only in his/her age division.
- Players may compete in their own age division and/or league (U16 Boys or U18 Boys divisions) and are also eligible to participate in one additional, older age division, provided they compete under the same team name and within the same league ( U16 Boys or U18 Boys divisions).

Number of teams:
To ensure a well-organized competition schedule, team entries for each age division and
gender will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the maximum number of teams and receipt of full registration payment by APRIL 15, 2026.

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel any age division or gender category if fewer than five (5) teams are registered.

4. MINI-LEAGUE CONCEPT
To ensure fair competition and enjoyable matches for participating teams in the U16 BOYS
and U18 BOYS divisions, TWO Mini-Leagues are introduced based on teams’ skill levels
and competitive criteria:

DIAMOND League: Designed for highly competitive teams with advanced skills, the
DIAMOND League emphasizes intense competition, tactical development, and preparation
for top-level international play.
•
PLATINUM League: Designed for developing teams, mid-level teams, or those newer to
international competition, the PLATINUM League focuses on maximum playing time,
skill development, and balanced, competitive matches.
ELIGIBITY
•
DIAMOND League:
- Champions, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up teams from the IYBC 2023, IYBC 2024 (Division 1), or IYBC 2025 (Division 1)
- Teams with highly competitive skill or national youth baskeball players
•
PLATINUM League:
- Champions, 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up from the IYBC 2024 (Division 2), or IYBC 2025 (Division 2)
- New teams participating in the IYBC 2026
5. AWARDS & SOUVENIRS

TROPHIES
•
Royal Trophies under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
will be awarded to:
- DIAMOND League Champions – U16 Boys and U18 Boys
- GIRLS Champions – U16 Girls and U18 Girls
•
IYBC 2026 trophies will be awarded to:
- 2nd and 3rd place teams from the DIAMOND League
- PLATINUM League winners
- Champions, 1st Runner-up, and 2nd Runner-up from other age divisions
•
MEDALS
The IYBC 2026 medals will be presented to the champions, the 1st 2nd and 3rd finalists.
•
SOUVENIRS
- A Certificate of Achievement will be offered to the champions, the 1st and 2nd finalists.
- A Certificate of Participation will be offered to all participating players.
- All players will receive an IYBC 2026 T-shirt.
